Because of the economy, dentistry careers are in popular demand because of the promise of high wages and stability Some states require a two year college degree in dental hygiene before attending the dental hygienist program Others may allow you to take the class and begin practicing after passing the exam and evaluation for state licensing
Once this has been achieved, people may work in private dental offices Working with a larger corporation that will help further their education and go into research areas of dental health improves on-the-job success rates
