The Millionaire Method

Author : E. S. Lorence

Did you know that the vast majority of “wage earners” will earn less than one million dollars their entire working lives? Better than 95% of working people, right here in the U S !

Let’s do the math

The U S gross median income today is around $35,000 per year, the average person has a working life of around 50 years (age 17-67) I will take a high average of $30,000 for each of those 50 years, or 1 5 million dollars gross

After income tax, property tax, sales tax, and every other tax- That leaves us with about one million cash for a lifetime of work Though please understand that this is a simplistic evaluation for the sake of argument, this dose not include variables such as bank interest, stocks, bonds, property wealth, etc But I will touch on these another time

My goal is to impress upon you the true meaning of this amount, and what it takes to be a millionaire The majority of us will buy homes, cars, food, clothing, energy, insurance, and education Raise families, live, love, and play, for most of our lives on one million dollars

Many “self-styled” wealth “gurus” like to throw that number around because it makes for good ad copy, Million, Millionaire, Make Millions, and so on The reality is that most people don’t really understand or care about money itself Most people love the “idea” of wealth and what it can bring Freedom to quit a job, a life of luxury Freedom from work

I’m sorry, but there is no such thing as freedom from work It is this dream of wealth that blinds many of us to all these “million dollar cons” “A sucker born every minute” is a reality and will keep con-artists in business Also why many of us will continue to be scammed, suckered, and bamboozled for a very long time to come!

Self-made millionaires, if you ever meet any, are some of the hardest working people you will ever meet Smart business minds see money as a tool, and utilize it as such

To the entrepreneur, cash is blood, oxygen, life of the business And without it, business can’t survive What if a successful entrepreneur offered to teach you how to make $1 a day-every day, for ten minutes of work a day? Sound like a joke?

Consider this, a solid plan for earning $365 dollars per year? Or, “A Million a year working part time!”

-A twenty dollar eBook promising several thousand per week for a few hours work?

-A several thousand dollar course promising a million the first year?

-A solid, common sense plan, step by step, and the first step is one dollar a day?

Are you thinking “$365 a year, why bother? Consider compounding; multiplying your effort $1 dollar for 10 minutes of work, work 1 hour $6, work 2 $12, and so on

As you gain knowledge, your skills sharpen, your efficiency increases One dollar will become two, then five, then ten and so on That is how you build a business, which is how you build a fortune $100 a day, sound better?

Reinvestment;

Many of these “get rich quick” Gurus love to tell anyone who will listen how they” made a million” doing this or selling that Just assuming that’s the truth, what they will forget to mention is the $500,000 or more it cost them to earn that million

They will also forget to mention the many years of 14hr days spent building to that level They have spent many years of developing skills, acquiring knowledge, networking, and the many failures along the way

Most successful companies will reinvest 33% to 50% of income The least efficient, or those with massive overhead costs, will spend 80-95 cents for every dollar earned

Yes it costs money to make money As your business grows, reinvestment will be necessary You will spend on marketing, education, automation (software, employees, etc ) But in the beginning all you will need is time

Reinvestment is key

Compounding is key

Let’s face it; you will never make a fortune working for someone else You’ll never reach a goal if you never HAVE a goal You will never get what you want by dwelling on what you don’t want Nothing worth having is free or easy Indulging in “POOR-PERSONS” thought will make you just that, poor Now what are you doing to live your dreams?

How Do You Spend Your Time

Author : Clare Evans

If you’re not sure where all your time disappears, keep a log of your time for a week or so Make a note of everything you do through your normal working day

Include work and personal time, from when you wake up, how long you take for meals (too much, too little?) until you go to bed There are no right or wrong answers, at this stage you’re just getting an idea of where your time goes

Now, answer the following questions to see where you are spending your time in the course of a normal working week

When do you plan what you’re going to do today, this week, this month?

How do you prioritise your tasks or do you do them as they come up?

Do you usually finish what you planned to do each day?

How much of your time is spent dealing with crises or unexpected matters?

How do you manage interruptions from upsetting your work?

How much time each day do you spend on paperwork?

What proportion of your time spent at meetings is productive?

When in the day/week do you get interrupted most?

When in the day/week do you get interrupted least?

Do you choose how to use your time, or do other people manage your time?

Are you able to say ‘No’ to your colleagues/boss?

What tasks do you tend to delay or put off?

What tasks do you tend to avoid completely?

When is your most/least productive time of day?

If you had another hour every day, what would you do with it? What can you change about the way you work to get an extra hour in your day

Look at how and where you’re spending your time and decide what changes you need to make in order to use your time more effectively

Could you get up an hour earlier or go to bed an hour later

Spend a few minutes at the beginning of each day to plan your working day and you’ll be able to get more done and be more productive Look at where you potentially ‘waste’ time and decide what you can do to change it

Make sure you’re getting enough breaks during the day It’s all very well working hard but how productive is that working time? If you’re getting tired, you won’t be as effective, take frequent breaks

In order to make the most effective use of your time you need to make sure that you’re focusing on what’s important Prioritise your tasks and actions in order of importance or urgency Ensure you spend most of your time focusing on the important to avoid them becoming urgent later on Get the high priority tasks done first and break larger tasks down into smaller ones

Simple And Effective Time Management Techniques

Author : Kevin Sinclair

Many individuals desire to know and understand some simple and effective time management techniques The concept of “time management” is very often over complicated by many individuals When this occurs, these people may cringe at the sound of this phrase Electronic organizers, computer software programs, time spreadsheets – these are all extremely complicated means of effectively controlling your time, your schedule In most cases, these are bought and used with all the best intentions, but quickly will gather dust in someone’s office somewhere Here, I will share with you some simple and effective time management techniques that can help you take charge today!

Now, I am going to share with you a secret that most businesses who specialize in creating and selling time management tools do not want you to hear The best simple and effective time management technique is implementing the use of a pen and a piece of paper! Yes, that’s right! The good old fashioned method of keeping track of time with a “To Do” list is the most effective means of appropriately managing your time! I mean, if you think about time organizers that are electronic based, they can be really complicated when it comes to running them, and finding files on them Ultimately, you are actually losing time each day by using these systems rather than gaining time!

When it comes to electronic based organizers and handheld time management systems, you have to worry about supplying a steady stream of power to these units That means that they chew on your electrical costs when they are charging, and they chew on your wallet a little when batteries must be bought for them What happens if you have no access to power? What happens if that battery decides to give out in the middle of the day? I will tell you – your entire day will be lost and you will have no direction whatsoever! Why put yourself at risk for these situations to occur? Grab a good pen, some nice clean sheets of paper and be on your way!!!

One of the best investments that you can make is a small notepad and a pen that you can use to write in that notebook Just in case the first pen runs out of ink, it is always great to have a backup pen You should stick this notebook and these pens in your pocket so that you always have access to them Throughout the day, as you get new ideas and commit to new things that will or may affect your time, you can simply jot them down in your little notebook! Now, don’t you think that is much easier than programming everything that affects your time into some handheld electronic unit? Plus, do you know how much those little organizers and even time management software programs cost? The notebook and pens you buy do not even cost 1% of what you will spend on these units! Don’t complicate time management, simplify it!

The Importance Of A Personal Development Strategy

Author : Koz Huseyin

It is easy to get into personal development and forget about the importance of having a personal development strategy to go by This can result in you either controlling a powerful ship or drifting with a powerful ship Now a personal development strategy becomes important, and as you read, you discover more about creating a strategy

Life is growth, and growth is change But, lack of focus can send us in loops, never finding the true power of personal development – which is in the clear and focused application of the principles

As a person into personal development, you may have had an experience that is so similar to mine, and that of many others in personal development I look in my emails, and as I look, I have the obvious spam, and customer emails, sales, etc I also have a whole lot of emails about seminars, and would I like to go

Some are free, and some are paid for, and here is where we can easily get into a position, like watching TV – you have so many channels, you can’t focus Personal development needs focus, and as such, we need to have a personal development strategy that can work with our development

For example, let’s say your primary aim is to make a $1,000,000 per year You could try going to a wealth seminar Then you may find another seminar on wealth, and try going to that After a few years, you are running around, learning what to do, when you have a million, but find it hard to get that first million

So, what’s the solution? You probably guessed it – a personal development strategy And here is where a personal development strategy is essential

In the above example, we find the failure was due to running, before we can walk In most cases, the above case shows what many people do, when they have a slight desire in personal development to grow

We find that many times our own position can cause us problems Doubts, fears, and also negative programming from society – such as money is the root of all evil, causes people to put obstacles in there paths

Here is a basic strategy that you could use, with the above example Pretty much, you could adapt it, to whatever your needs However, it will provide a basis, which will help you

1 Mindset

2 Learn to invest

3 Grow your investments

Mindset is a big topic And mindset is a topic which needs to be looked at for a number of reasons You can’t achieve something you have never had, unless you are it, and are ready for it Our mindset becomes the barrier; our limiting beliefs keep us small And you perhaps wonder why it is hard to achieve certain goals Going through these steps results in mastership and success
