This simple, quick visualization helps you make fulfilling time choices, because you immediately focus your energies on 2 essentials:

1) You clarify, through daily experience, which time choices genuinely increase your satisfaction in your life, and which you can let go of with few regrets

2) You introduce necessary changes in small, easy steps over time These are the kinds of changes that can be sustained, fine-tuned, and perfected You can also revise them whenever your circumstances change

Do you ask why the first step is even necessary? And have you wondered why most people don’t feel that 24 hours a day really is enough? A recent book entitled “Happiness: The Science Behind Your Smile” offers surprising answers

5) Take the third 5-minute segment and do it

Let yourself be totally in the moment Pick the time of day when it will be easiest for you, and when this activity (or even lack of activity) will mean the most to you

Learn To Relax If You Want To Be Successful In Life

The subject of relaxation is a big topic and a very important part of the Happy Venn Diagram What’s more, true relaxation not only makes you feel good, increases self esteem, but it also puts your manifestation powers on after burners

Most of us have a somewhat flawed idea about relaxation Relaxation is not about sleeping excessively, going on holiday, or seeking out so called relaxing entertainment, like sitting in front of the box and be brainwashed, or some other form of mental or physical intoxication These activities only distract you from a problem you may have and delude you into thinking that you are relaxing Alcohol and television slow down your mind, which means you enter a less frenzied state for a while, however, true relaxation is very different

With practice you can enter a state of true relaxation at will Actually, in seconds However, if you are experiencing feelings of guilt, anger and fear, as many of us do, you will find it hard to truly relax You will need to do a little mental house cleaning first Because, true relaxation requires a mind free from guilt and fear Both guilt and fear are the biggest enemies of progress and success They stop you from being in touch with yourself and your life This artifical feeling of separation is painful and induces more stress, quite the opposite from what you need to achieve your goals

If you are out of touch with yourself, how can you possibly connect to others? Let alone, create the habits and thoughts of a successful person

Relaxation is about entering a mild alpha state and maintaining it Breathing exercises are a great way to practice cognitive relaxation, particularly, if you have not practiced any cognitive relaxation techniques before

Relaxation is also about becoming aware of your body and your mind and consciously doing those things that bring about balance When you learn to become truly relaxed, you will conserve energy

Stress In Your Life Can Put You On Fire

The stress of everyday life might have you on fire as you try to fix all of the problems that you might have to deal with on a daily basis If all of these problems get to be overly stressful, you will need to just take a step back and sit down and relax Most of the time, these problems will take care of themselves, with sometimes it not coming out like you would have liked to hope Bad things always happens to people that they might not be expecting, such as a family member getting sick and not being able to work for a while or having your car breakdown and not being able to fix it at the time when you might need it most, or the most recent reason being the loss of your or another family member losing their job

Stress cannot only cause you to feel sick, but it can do a lot of other things to your body as well It can cause you to have terrible headaches that might put you to bed, or it might make you break out in hives or cold sweats But if the stress level gets too strong for your body to handle, it might force your body to shut down all together and if this happens, you will need to seek medical help right away

With our nation in such trouble, there are going to be a lot of people hurting not because of their stress levels but for everything else We worry about our children in school and if they are getting the best education that they can get so that they will be able to find good jobs We worry about so many things that we might not even have any control over like maybe the price of our gas or the cost of our food or even sometimes the way we might have to live This might be because of losing our home to severe weather such as floods or fire or foreclosure

Sometimes things are just taken out of our control, which in some ways might be a good thing, or not But like I said before, don’t let the stress in your life take over it completely Everything will come together in the end, and in most cases, you will come out the winner If they don’t, however, then try not to look down too hard on yourself
